    Last week we went to the aquatic Centre and trained to swim 200 Metres and I was very good.

Beach Art

Yesterday we made beach art mine was awesome and also Ms.Nelson said that mine was excellent.

Yesterday we made gingerbread houses {decorated them } in my group Johnpaul was in my group Harrison was in my group and Auguste aka the reindeer killer was in my group.

Rainbow springs

Last week we went to rainbow springs it was so fun to play with my friends again and at the end of the day when e went back to school we played on the chromebooks.

                                Last week we did athletics there was Shotput vortex javelin foxtail sprint long jump

high jump. It was fun at athletics.

2017 dance

This term Mrs, Dinniss taught us dance. We had to learn two folk dances I didn't like the folk dances becasue I would mess them up. THey were the Chicken dance  from Germany and the Seven Jump from Denmark. Today we we did dance and we did lot's of okay dances but my favorite dance was The Robot.  

The robot dance is when you tick wobble and chairs chairs is when you put your right arm behind you and when you pull your arm forward and you push your rear down. Another one was Cotton Eye Joe it was my second fave. the others I didn't participate in.

Today in Enrichment we did a maths problem Bryony's triangle. We found out that  there were 16 squares and there were 32 triangles in 1/16.  Aaron's answer was 512  mine was 24.

Bar codes are numbers on something your buying in the shop.

In enrichment we did a challenge on doing 5 bar codes and we have to work out the last digit in the code.
         When you do one you add the seven on the top and you have your answer and then you add the ones on the bottom row and multiply your answer by three and only take the last digit number in your answers and  ask the person that is holding the code and tell them your answer.

TALL stories

today we did a challenge called tall stories our newspaper self supporting tower was 42 cm but blue was 43 minus one point equals 42 cm. Tallest was red/black with 92 1/2 cm. It was hard work for 15 mins everyone except me was building so if I wasn't so LAZY our tower would be much bigger.

matriki stars/1 million stars to end violence

this week we made matariki stars 1 coloured and one white they are hard work but they are worth it.

electrocity

this is electrocity a game when you must survive 150 turns but I got bankrupt that's  what you can't get.
this is my city at the top very big it's got a stadium,gas platform,small wind farm, co gen paper mill, coal mine,
I was working really hard. had so much coal and gas. I love electrocity

squash

on the first week of squash I felt like  I was doing it terribly and Mrs Mcashin taught me to balance the ball
the very next week  I didn't want  to do the relays.
the next week  I didn't want to hit the ball to a partner then Mrs Mcashin and me hit the ball to each other.
On the last week I did most of the things on the other weeks and one different thing.

Anzac biscuits

today we made Anzac biscuits
you need 1.1 cup rolled oats.
               2.1 cup thread coconut.
               3.1 cup flour.
               4.1 cup of sugar.
               5. 125 grams of butter.
               6. 2 TBsp of golden syrup.
               7. 1 tsp of baking soda.
               8. 2 Tbsp of boiling water.
                 They are absolutely delicious

museum trip

       At the museum we did  some questions about tools that maori used for gardening and my group had a maori shovel  and after that we went to their maori garden  and it was very fun finding potatos trying to find kumara  picking gourds making a wall to keep pukeko out making mounds with the maori shovels and taking weeds out of the ground

Anzac word art

       I learned that Anzac is about people from all the wars not just world war 1 so it's  a huge amount
