Grandparents day

Well to tell you the truth my grandparents never come on grandparents day.

First we went to the church and we had mass, it was very long and my brother did the intro and I think he did great.


After that we went back to class and we had karakia and then had a shared morning tea and was depressed because my grandparents never come on grandparents day.

After that the bell rang and everyone went out to play.

One of the things that happened in the hall was the choir singing different songs (the sound raked my ears).

Another one of the things was room two dancing to the audience and one of the songs they danced to was young blood

Before both of those thing was the gymnastics group they did flips and they were very flexible.


What I brought to the shared morning tea was a pack of Oreos the original flavor.

What jasper brought was a plate of sushi.

What Max W brought was a container of red velvet and chocolate cupcakes.

I think the grandparents had a great day.

Science roadshow 2018

Today on the science roadshow we watched the fire & ice show it was about temperature, but after the fire and ice show there were activities to do me Harrison and Thornton went to a wind tunnel and we had to make things out of paper and there were balloons there as well, so we practically only played with the balloons but it was very fun.also we did an activity that included discs with different sized and numbers of holes and we had to use them and they made types of patterns for each hole in the disc.
After that we went to this speaker spring and there was this timer button and a frequency knob when you press the timer button it starts making a beat,when you turn the frequency knob  the beat gets faster or slower. After a while of doing the activities we went back down to where they had the fire and ice show but this time it was the am I living? show. Near the end of the show there was this thing about M.R.S G.R.E.N so yeah that is all I have cause I don't want to recite the whole thing.

Writing goals t3

By the end of term 3 I want to have an R.5 for structure in writing.

To do this I will need to group my ideas into and introduction main paragraphs and a conclusion. I'll also need to reread my sentences to check they don't all sound the same.

Hei Tiki

there is Matua George talking to us. 

Today we went to the museum and we learnt about hei tiki, the necklaces that you wear around your neck, we got to touch one but we had to wear gloves and the one that I touched was made of Jade or also known as greenstone, also there was a maori lady that lived a few hundred years ago had a hei tiki around her neck and she was a guide, so she took people out to see the pink and white terraces. we also talked about how the people of New Zealand should use  tiki and hei tiki.

The Ascension

What's the difference between the Ascension and the Resurrection ?

The Resurrection is when Jesus rose from the dead as a solid mortal.

The Ascension is when Jesus rose into heaven as God. Then two men with white robes appeared to the disciples.

My writing goal for term 2 is to use a range of different sentence starters to make my writing more interesting.

Update: Next time at the end of term three I want to have more texture in my writing,for example adding more supporting details.

Term 4 Next time at the end of term four I want to have a big variety in sentence structure because then people will be more interested in my writing.

Camp reflection willow park

I liked going to Rangitoto Island and going to motat which means Museum of Transport and Technology.After dinner at willow park I liked the desert especially the mango flavour Ice cream like who didn't (me!).

I wonder how much my mum and dad missed me?(lots).

There we are at Motat.

I think camp was cool because we went up the SKYTOWER like it's taller than the Eiffel tower. The skytower is 328m high and we went up to the 52nd level it was SO high and there was even glass floors in some areas but you don't have to be afraid of it shattering and you falling to your death the glass is as strong as the concrete pavements you stand on. 

I saw old trams at Motat and I saw Rangitoto island from the sky tower and the view was dazzling.

I've ordered 1 whole to 1 12th.

Update: I can do different fractions than the ones in the test so by the end of week 5 term 3 I want to order any fraction from smallest to biggest.



Update:I now know if I'm to order fractions I must make the denominator the same.
